May 17, 2024

Embarking on an immersive journey into the world of sound, Spinnin' Records and Sony united for an extraordinary venture – the 360 Reality Audio DJ Competition and Workshops.

Over two exhilarating days, seven Spinnin' artists, including the likes of Mike Williams, Blasterjaxx, and Angie Mill, immersed themselves in the intricacies of 360 Reality Audio technology and 360 Spatial Sound Technology. Through hands-on workshops, they illuminated the pathways to harnessing its transformative power, offering invaluable insights and expertise.

Following the workshops, the stage was set for aspiring producers to shine. Launched in February, the competition invited talents to showcase their prowess on Spinnin's Talent Pool platform. The winning track not only earns the coveted 360 Reality Audio treatment but also secures an official release through Spinnin's esteemed label.

Guided by established artists, such as Mike Williams and Dastic, contestants navigated the nuances of this groundbreaking technology. Ultimately, Danish DJ/producer BUTTER emerged triumphant with the electrifying track "Shake It," captivating both judges and audiences.

Scheduled for release on May 17th via Spinnin's Talent Pool label, "Shake It" promises to make waves across all major DSPs. Yet, its appeal extends further with an exclusive 360 Reality Audio version premiering on TIDAL and Amazon Music Unlimited.

In a quest to push the boundaries of music technology, Spinnin' Records has long been at the forefront of innovation. Teaming up with Sony, renowned for its cutting-edge advancements, seemed like the natural next step. With the advent of 360 Reality Audio, a revolutionary technology hailed for its immersive capabilities, the stage was set for a competition unlike any other.
