Dutch duo brings us back to the 90s
Mr. Belt & Wezol feel ‘The Rhythm’
Mr. Belt & Wezol are back, dropping another overwhelming party gem in the shape of ‘The Rhythm’. It's a record drenched in vintage vocal house energy, resulting in one of the most exciting house tunes this early 2019. Expect a fresh step in their ever evolving career, this time laying out a more 90s rave driven record, destined to take their music to a next level - out now on Spinnin' Records.
Mr. Belt & Wezol enter 2019 with a much anticipated new single, 'The Rhythm'. It's the return of a successful duo, that's widely known for its reworks of classic disco and dance tunes, but now returns with an original production. The duo lays down a sweet 90s rave infused groove, with upwinding beats, nice synth pads, catchy vocals and blazing bass line that should blow away any dancefloor.
DJ support already counts tastemakers like Hardwell, Don Diablo, Oliver Heldens, Afrojack, R3hab, Fedde Le Grand, Bingo Players and many more.
Mr. Belt & Wezol:
“In our opinion "The Rhythm" breathes 90s rave vibes. Along with the acid smiley on the cover and the tracks dusty atmosphere it brings us back to the early-day warehouse raves. The track is also created with 90s production techniques like re-sampling and tape recording. The drop is a 50-50 mixture of UK house groove and distorted EDM kicks”
Mr. Belt & Wezol have been on fire these last years. 2015 saw them rise to international fame on the waves of hit single ‘Somebody To Love’. Releasing other festival gems like ‘Finally’ and ‘RDY2FLY’ on Spinnin’ Deep, the Dutch duo turned into one of house music’s most exciting new acts, early 2016 rewarded with an International Dance Music Award (IDMA) in the category Best Break-Through Artist.
In 2017 saw the guys on a sweet disco trip, reworking the classic Earth, Wind & Fire tune 'Boogie Wonderland' and revamping the Chic classic 'Good Times' to critical acclaim. Meanwhile, they've kept on playing several gigs, while presenting their highly popular vlogs to an ever growing audience.
Last year the guys blasted with 'Let's All Chant', a wonderful rework of the 1977 disco classic by Michael Zager and ‘Stupid, a sweet disco infused groove which saw enormous DJ support.
