Wait Another Day

Mike Williams X Mesto

Two of dance music's fastest rising stars Mike Williams and Mesto have teamed up for an undeniable festival gem. Already widely supported, 'Wait Another Day' is a true DJ's favorite and a definite milestone for two Dutch artists currently making impressive steps to the top - out now on Spinnin' Records.

'Wait Another Day' is the perfect tune to end a highly successful year for both DJ's. Building a vibe with sturdy big room beats, the record moves into a characteristic chorus that features a strong melody, upbeat and jumpy. Surely, a party tune that underlines both artists' knack for catchy melodies and strong dance rhythms, destined for peaktime plays at clubs and festivals.

Indeed, the track has already been making waves for a while now, getting played for the first time by Mike Williams during his Tomorrowland performance at the Musical Freedom stage. Following this, Williams and Mesto kept dropping the tune at several gigs, while other DJ's picked it up as well as one of their festival and radio show weapons, including Tiësto, Hardwell, Oliver Heldens, Afrojack and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.

Nuff said, this is a true crowdpleaser coming your way, delivered by a Dutch dream duo on fire!

Mike Williams:
‘’It has always been a wish to work together with Mesto, because we’ve been friends for so long. We spoke about it a lot, had a lot of studio time together, but we never actually did it.
Until we produced this one. After we heard the full final version for the first time, we knew: let’s not ‘Wait Another Day’ – lock in and release this banger together.’’

Mesto:
“Mike and I have been friends for a long time. Now we’re finally releasing our first collab together! Working with each other was pretty fun, we sat down in my studio in the Netherlands and created the whole idea in one day. We even recorded the vocal with a very mysterious name that day. This is ‘Wait Another Day’!”

ARTIST INFO

Mike Williams
Young buck Mike Williams experienced a massive breakthrough year in 2016, getting noticed by Tiësto, who signed Williams' debut release 'Sweet & Sour' on his Musical Freedom label, meanwhile supporting the young DJ whenever he could. More hit singles followed, including the Tiësto collab 'I Want You' and singles like 'Another Night', 'Bambini' and 'Don't Hurt' - with millions of streams turning Mike Williams into one of dance music's newest tastemakers.

Last year saw Williams undertake a series of new, genre crossing collabs, including team ups with Lucas & Steve and Curbi ('Let's Go'), Brooks ('Jetlag'), Dastic ('You & I') and Felix Jaehn, resulting in his biggest hit so far 'Feel Good' (currently counting over 106 million Spotify streams).

Following this, the Dutchman continued to break new soil in 2018 as he released the smash hit 'Lullaby' together with R3hab. He also kickstarted this year's season with a blazing performance on Ultra Miami's mainstage, impressively closing off his set with named 'Lullaby'. Following this, he released the spring hit 'Give It Up' and widely popular tune 'The Beat', again bringing him widespread DJ support and millions of streams, while currently residing at #66 of the DJ Top 100.

Mesto
Known as one of the biggest talents in the Dutch dance scene, Mesto's name started to surface back in 2015 when he released the hit ‘Bouncy Bob’ together with Martin Garrix and Justin Mylo. This resulted in a #1 position in DJ Mag’s 2016 upcoming dance talent list. Multiple club tracks followed, such as collab ‘WIEE’ with Martin Garrix, ‘Chatterbox’ with Fox Stevenson, and the Curbi collab 'BRUH', released on Tiësto’s Musical Freedom label.

While touring in Europe and overseas, Mesto kept contact with Tiësto. This led to their collab ‘Coming Home’, which was included as one of the four tracks on Tiësto’s special EP released in March of this year, racking up over 12 million Spotify plays to date.
