One of last year’s biggest tunes, Dubdogz and JØRD’s rendition of soul classic ‘Ain’t No Sunshine’, is now back in the shape of an electrifying remix. Joining forces for this honorable task are Turkish rising stars Arem Ozguc and Arman Aydin, laying down wonderful layers of sturdy deep house beats, vocal effects and catchy new arrangements. The soulful vibe persists, courtesy of Jasmine Pace’s outstanding vocal efforts, while the fresh production takes the track’s energy up a few notches, clearly marking the emerging talents of the remix duo. ‘Ain’t No Sunshine’ turned quite some heads last year. Using the melody and vocal lines of Bill Withers’ eponymous soul classic, the deep sound of Brazilian sweethearts Dubdogz and JØRD added a catchy dance vibe, while Belgian singer Jasmine Pace brought new dimensions to Withers’ original lyrics. The track caught worldwide attention, by now counting over 5 million Spotify streams alone - making way for a new 2022 version to hit the streets.
Taking up this honorable task are two fast risers of the global dance music scene. Turkish hot shots Arem Ozguc and Arman Aydin have been making incredible moves in recent; DJ support from the biggest names around, reaching the Spotify Turkey Top 20 with every recent release, racking hundreds of millions of views on their Tiktok videos and continuously pushing the envelope when it comes to inventive new dance productions.
‘Ain’t No Sunshine’ is their next musical milestone. As the original thrives on a sweet Brazilian bass groove, the Turkish duo adds a punchy beat, strong percussion and dark bass chords in the lower regions, providing the song with a more gritty club feel. Rising Dutch DJ Justus is ‘Forever Alive’ According to New Single
Justus’ latest single ‘Forever Live’ is one of the rare tracks that lives up to its dramatic title . From the composition to the production, the vast space given to each element in the track brings out a commanding big-room vibe that simply says ‘I’m here to stay’. Already receiving nods from stars like Tiësto and David Guetta, as well Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Afrojack, W&W and Nicky Romero, ‘Forever Alive’ represents the next generation of mainstage dance talent.
At only 21 years old, rising Dutch electronic producer and DJ Justus (a.k.a. Justus Schipper) has proven himself to be a true go-getter, having already toured internationally and released on today’s heavy-hitter dance labels Spinnin’ Records and Armada.
Justus’ story begins in 2014 at an all ages Afrojack show at Ziggo Dome Amsterdam. Mesmerized by the energy of it all - the live production, music, crowds dancing in unison - Justus went home that night and bought his first DJ set. Quickly his love for DJing shifted from just a hobby to a career path. It wasn’t long before he landed some small club gigs, though he soon realized the value of making his own music if he wanted to advance in the industry as an artist.
