Feeling Dynamite
Known as one of the most creative sources of Dutch dance music, DJ/producer Joe Stone has teamed up for a brand new milestone, together with US multi platinum pop singer Ally Brooke. 'Feeling Dynamite' is all you'd expect from these two powerhouses, providing a pop infused dance gem while also touching on exciting new sounds, thanks to Stone's immaculate production skills. Powerfull stuff, out now on Spinnin's main label.
Leave it to Joe Stone to turn an already exciting tune into something spectacular. He's done it before, from his debut single 'The Party (This Is How We Do It)' (featuring none other than Montell Jordan) to recent hits like 'Nothing Else (When I Think Of You)' and 'Superstar' (featuring Four Of Diamonds). For the last five years he's delivered a string of instant classics, often combining a club focused 90's house vibe with contemporary sounds and timeless vocal lines.
With 'Feeling Dynamite' though, he's taking things further. The Dutch artist has pushed himself to another level of production, this time focusing on a more 21st century sound - high on energy, sweet on the ears. Opposed to his 90's styled grooves in the past, this record brings a more raw beat, spacious synth chords and sensual sound effects, building towards an upbeat chorus that seems to be made for Ally Brooke's invigorating vocals.
Because she's on fire here. Known for her work with multi platinum pop group Fifth Harmony, she's been responsible for some impressive solo efforts these last years. Hits include the R&B styled 'Low Key' (featuring Tyga) and 'Lips Don't Lie' (featuring A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie) as well as this year's teamup with Afrojack in the shape of dance blast 'All Night'.
'Feeling Dynamite' sees her bring a similar burst of energy, celebrating the good things in life with her strong, joyous vocals. Joe Stone's ever feelgood rhythms perfectly align here with Brooke's ecstatic delivery, packed in a contagious melody that's begging to be played on repeat. For sure, this tune will light up the airwaves, playlists and private parties, as it's a sun drenched pop tune made to unite the audience in a big smile.
"Really excited to be able to work with Ally Brooke on this one! So happy at how 'Feeling Dynamite' turned out and can’t wait to show it to the world." – Joe Stone
"I am so excited to be doing another release with Spinnin' Records and to collab with Joe Stone. This song makes me want to dance and I know my fans and the world will love it and will dance and sing with us!" - Ally Brooke

Damn Damn
Make way for a raving collab between le Shuuk and D.T.E, presenting their claim to fame with the raw tune 'Damn Damn'. Both artists clearly express their dissatisfaction with the current situation, as lockdowns everywhere keep the people from dancing together. It's a necessary measure, but also something these DJ/producers are fed up with. The pounding tune 'Damn Damn' underlines their hope and eagerness for the party to continue soon.
It's not a surprising message. As the whole cultural sector is suffering from worldwide lockdowns, and dance events in particular are not taking place at all, the need to start dancing together is getting stronger by the day. Of course, it's not only the audience that feels this way, DJ's are suffering with them, aching to jump on stage again and present a raving show.
For artists like le Shuuk and D.T.E it's exactly like that. The first can easily be named a German sensation, making waves all across the globe these last years, with performances on the most renowned festivals, while delivering popular releases that reach millions of streams. Since the start of the pandemic, le Shuuk hasn't stopped producing though, he actually released some of his biggest records this year, including 'Sandmann', 'You & Me' and the Ummet Ozcan collab 'Toast Hawaii'.
Fellow German artist D.T.E enjoyed a similar rise, creating a buzz with his magical DJ sets and raving festival shows. He turned into quite a phenomenon as a performing artist, and followed this up early 2020 with his debut single 'The Passenger (LaLaLa)', a teamup with Gabry Ponte and LUM!X, a track that went viral and by now counts nearly 60 million Spotify streams alone.
So, for sure these guys feel the need to get the party started again. With 'Damn Damn' they try to create a momentum for that, a pounding tune that would normally enlight the festival stage and get everyone jumping in a frenzy. It's a record that continues on their earlier releases, presenting a sturdy groove that builds on pulsating triplet sounds, hardstyle elements and nicely rolling slap house rhythms. These raw beats are countered by a strong melody and enticing vocals, calling out to 'not give a damn' and just start to dance again.
It's a call to action, but with respect for the current rules. 'Damn Damn' is the anthem that reminds the audience there's still music to dance to, and the rave should continue as soon as this is possible. Just hold on, and get ready to get back on your dancing feet - this is the song to keep you raving for now.
"Music and dance are the universal language of mankind. They are a tool to peacefully unite all people, but can also become the soundtrack for a revolutionary movement. 'Damn Damn' represents the idea of new beginnings, and we hope it will become reality soon." - le Shuuk
"Every revolution begins with a spark. If I can't dance to it, then it's not my revolution. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Be young. Be stupid. Be reckless." - D.T.E
