ABOUT THNDERZ
THNDERZ, a standout Italian artist, has gained prominence in the international market with his distinct style. His tracks have amassed over 20 million total streams, showcasing his exceptional talent. Renowned artists like Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Timmy Trumpet, Mariana Bo, and Will Sparks, among others, have recognized THNDERZ's musical prowess, featuring his songs in top clubs and festivals worldwide. Notably, his remix of "Hangover" was played at Ushuaia in Ibiza, further solidifying his success. In addition, TikTok served as his catapult, propelling him to amass a staggering fan base of more than 80,000 loyal followers in no time.
He is currently captivating audiences in Italy and has an impressive track record as a guest performer at the prestigious "Harder Timez" festival in Liverpool and the acclaimed 48hours Festival in Germany. Additionally, he showcased his talents last summer at the esteemed clubs in Pag, such as Noa, Papaya, Cocomo, Rocks, Burra, and more.
WHAT CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOUR TRACK?
This track was a challenge for me because I aimed to blend my rock and hard sounds with the violin to create something new and outstanding for the competition! It wasn't simple to mix these sounds together, but it was a lot of fun to create. Mariana really liked it because she played it live as the final track at EDC Mexico.
WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CONTEST?
I always play Mariana Bo's tracks in my show, so I decided to enter this competition to see how my sounds would fit with hers in a track, and this seemed like the best opportunity! It was also an opportunity for me to learn and grow through the process of creating this track
WHY DID YOU OPT FOR THIS GENRE? DO YOU USUALLY PRODUCE IN THIS STYLE?
I started mixing rock elements, such as the guitar (as I'm a guitarist and all the guitar parts in my track are played by me), drums, vocals, etc., with HardPsy, Hardstyle, and other hard genres in 2019. I decided to build my style around this signature fusion of sounds. Consistently, I maintain this style in my productions and always strive to incorporate something new into my songs. Many of my tracks
have been played by prominent artists in the music scene, such as Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike at Ushuaia in Ibiza, Timmy Trumpet, and many others!

WHAT MAKES YOU UNIQUE AS AN ARTIST?
That's a really cool question! It took me over four years to develop the sound before I began the 'THNDERZ' project, in search of the so-called 'perfect sounds, which I eventually realized is just a myth. Initially, when I started creating music, I made the mistake of trying to emulate the established artists in the genre to 'be like them.' However, I soon understood that you can't make a name for yourself by copying others. This realization led me to delve deeper into sound design and explore various music genres. I aimed to combine different elements that truly represent me. The key factor that assisted me the most in creating my unique sound was reflecting on my background. I began playing the guitar during my teenage years and grew up listening to Punk Rock and Rock 'n Roll bands. Therefore, I decided to infuse my music with my knowledge of the guitar and draw from those influences.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE THE MOST ABOUT TALENT POOL AND CONTESTS LIKE THESE?
What I like the most about the Talent Pool is that it connects you with a large community of producers. I've discovered numerous artists in the Talent Pool section, and for me, this kind of contest is perfect for thinking outside the box and trying something new! This is because music is about expressing ourselves without limitations.
WHAT IS YOUR GOALS WITH YOUR MUSIC AND AS AN ARTIST?
My goal with my music is to connect with as many people as possible. Beyond mere en tertainment, I strive to communicate stories and emotions that will create a sense of unity among all the listeners. I've always made music because I love how, from simple sounds or melodies, something significant can be created. When I perform my music live, I thoroughly enjoy witnessing how people react and sing along, connecting with them.
As an artist, it's important for me to express myself and constantly innovate with my sounds, creating something new and assisting others in this industry. When I started, I didn't find much support or help with production issues or mixing and mastering. I dedicated a lot of time to studying, and a few years later, when I had acquired certain skills and my tracks started to sound good, I began receiving requests to teach. So, for me, it's about continuing to pursue my passion, creating songs that people will sing along to, and helping others along the way.
LASTLY, IS THERE ANY ADVICE YOU WOULD LIKE TO GIVE YOUR FELLOW PRODUCERS?
My advice for all producers is to experiment with different approaches and not solely focus on current trends but rather to create their own trends through creativity. It's crucial to learn sound design or how to use samples in unconventional ways and thin k beyond the norm. This approach has worked for me; I've experimented with various methods, some yielding great results while others not so much. However, the key lies in consistency and the discipline to persist.
For me, the best platform to test my tracks is TikTok. This social media platform is ideal for testing music and creating something distinct and appealing without following the crowd. I initiated a remix style called "Ravetok" specifically for TikTok, where I remixed numerous popular tracks. This effort helped me amass over 80k followers and create trends, like my remix of 'Hangover,' which garnered over 11 million streams and worldwide support. Above all, the most important thing is to not let others determine your future. If you're passionate about creating music, keep working on it, and one day, you'll achieve your goals!
