I've always been a fan of the early 2010s house music scene. Specifically, 2012 to 2016 when house music wasn't overtly complex and didn't need a change every 4 bars to keep up with our short attention spans. Somehow we could listen to a full 16 bars without the need of a filler, key change, etc. This song is an ode to that early type of house music. And, not that you'll hear it directly, I was inspired by I Wanna Feel by Secondcity.
