I'm excited to introduce my freshman take on dance music. “Buffalo Jump” is an elemental piece, capturing the spirit of the wild, unpopulated lands of North America, as witnessed by Paleo-American settlers, at least 12,000 years ago. The song marries the spiritual serenity of the continent with the ferocity of those that inhabit it. A celestial flute soothes the listener, while vigorous hand drums knock with energy and serve as a reminder to stay wary in these untamed lands.
