The main kick drum in this track was created by using an audio sample of a clap of thunder. In order to achieve this sound, I utilised a spectrum analyzer to reveal whereabouts in the sample the most suitable frequencies lay. Then using Native Instruments Kontact I sectioned off that area of the sample where the frequencies rested. Using the effects in Kontact I added the final touches and created the beat. Nice :)
