The song "Hold On" contains two parts and two different story lines yet those two story lines are sides of the same coin first the singing part it tells how a person express his/her love and what boundaries will he/she cross to make his/her love one smile and then comes the second part of the song the rap part saying what it feels like to have someone who loves you so much and cares for you and holds on you no matter what the situation is.
