This song is a future bass track but it's inspired by a lot of the progressive house I grew up listening to. I always go into a song with a learning goal and this one I really wanted to focus on a chill intro leading to a powerful drop. I released a 40 song demo ep last year and I noticed a lot of my songs have a lot going on before the drop, even bass, so I decided to do something completely different. I also wanted to use reference tracks for the first time, it was life changing.
