Hello Spinin' Records! The track was used as a means to express a natural depressive state people tend to go through in their lives. When writing the song, "you" is depicted as not specifically a place, person or thing, but is to be kept for the listener to decide. Some people get comfortable in this space which is reflected in the lyric "I didn't know how to forget you". Recreating this euphoria of breaking free was our goal when making the track with an uplifting mood felt throughout.
