I remember very well as a teenager looking up to experienced DJs and radio hosts who were literally obsessed with funky music. I wanted to, too, but I still couldn't figure out why this musical style didn't fulfill me as much as, say, traditional euro-dance, trance or house. I already know. It was age. I've matured into a time when I love funky, too, and that's reflected in my production. Like the hit GOLDEN, which came out of Harry Styles' pen and I put it on the streets of NYC in the mid-80s.
