I don't really know where this sits genre-wise. I wrote the riff when I was starting out over a year ago now and back then it was very different, much more of a big room vibe. I've tried using this riff so many times since and it never really worked and it was only when I started listening to Sagan that I got the inspiration for the vibe. The vocal happened by accident, at first it was chipmunked but in the end the original sounded better.
