I wanted to write a somewhat emotional, but hard hitting piece that had lyrics focusing on the loss of a loved one. On January 31st, 2022, my mother passed away after spending two weeks in the hospital. I felt a lot of emotion and confusion throughout those two weeks leading up to her passing. I decided to add one very specific vocal to the end of it. The voice you hear is my mother. It's her voicemail. She now lives on through my music.
