Spinnin' x Gaming

Nov 19, 2020

Market researchers predict that the gaming industry will reach 134 billion euros in 2020 in revenue, a 9% increase year-over-year. The industry has been rapidly growing, and even more so this year due to the COVID-19 crisis. In light of these events, we worked with many game developers to set up diverse and exciting partnerships.

FIFA 21

How many times have you heard the sentence: 'Isn't this song on FIFA?’ Over the years, FIFA became a synonym of a diverse and upbeat soundtrack, often providing the players with undiscovered songs and new artists. In the street football mode 'Volta' you can find a handful of Spinnin’ tracks. Joining Kylian Mbappé, you can find:

Daddy's Groove – Borracho
Oliver Heldens x Firebeatz & Schella – Lift Me Up (ft Carla Monroe)
Quarantino – Broken Love
Yves V – We Got That Cool (ft. Afrojack & Icona Pop).

These indulgent tracks provide a new dynamic level to the gameplay inside of the four lines.

Call Of Duty: Warzone

Call Of Duty: Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale video game. For the 6th season of Modern Warfare, three EDM bangers were added to the wartrack packs. Players can choose different tracks while driving their vehicles and personalize their gaming experience - 'Tiësto, SWACQ – Party Time' is one of the available tracks that elevates Warzone's action, with no extra cost beyond the battle pass.

Avakin Life

Avakin Life is an online game with more than 200 million registered mobile users. The game was launched in 2013 and consists of a 3D world where people can create and fully customize their avatars - Avakins -, from clothes, hair, makeup & accessories. In the game, Avakins can also chat with millions of fellow gamers from all over the world. As a real life-like game, Spinnin’ secured a massive concert by the DJ duo Lucas & Steve. During three days of in-game arena concerts, Avakins were able to join this music event, called Spinnin' Sessions.

The show brought the best of physical events into a virtual environment so that audiences worldwide could still enjoy and benefit from talented producers that have been heavily affected by the coronavirus. This also included access to the backstage, where Avakins could take photos with Lucas & Steve! As a result, the duo saw a massive traction to their social media profiles, growing in followers and engagement. More than 1 million unique visitors attended the concert!

Watch Dogs: Legion

Ubisoft recruited Blasterjaxx to produce a distinct track - Legion - for the action-adventure game Watch Dogs: Legion. The duo created the track with characteristics that align with Ubisoft's entertainment qualities and Blasterjaxx’s complete creative freedom. 'Legion' combines the game's atmosphere of resistance and the duo's trademark sound. "Ubisoft gave us the opportunity to combine game elements with music in a cool, unique project that eventually turned into our track: Legion" said Thom Jong-kind and Idir Makhlaf from Blasterjaxx. The music video was produced by Australian director James Chappell and can be found on Spinnin' TV.

Curbi – Polar, Daniel Blume – Tonight and Tv Noise – Remember (ft. Oisin) are Spinnin’/MusicAllStars songs that can also be heard on the in-game radio stations in cars, shops, restaurants, and cafes.

Free Fire

Free Fire became the most downloaded mobile game in the world last year, and still reaches a peak of more than 100 million daily active users. KSHMR is the star of this massive partnership, as he created the Free Fire Booyah Day Theme Song called 'One More Round'. The American producer also received an exclusive playable character – called K, or also known as Captain Booyah. This character is one of the most powerful characters the game has ever created, joining our Brazilian star Alok.

The song represents KSHMR’s elevated production techniques. His signature sound and production style is profoundly imprinted in the music, and he delivers the same energy as users get from playing the battle royale game.

As a record label, we are very excited to continue exploring the gaming world.  We will continue to look at new gaming opportunities and partnerships for the future, as working with so many game developers and involving our producers in the process was a journey that we enjoyed deeply and want to continue.
