Summer is here, and so is a brand new Ibiza season! In case you never visited the White Isle, we let some of Spinnin's artists guide you the way. First up: Michael Calfan.
It seems like the perfect fit, Michael Calfan's 'soul house' with the love & peace of Ibiza. And yes, it's all love between the two of them - here's Michael's favorite spots at the island.
First, when & where are you playing Ibiza this summer?
"Pacha for Martin Solveig's 'My House' party (August 10th) and David Guetta's 'F*** Me I'm Famous' party (June 30th). I'm also doing my own party at Amnesia with The Magician and Blonde on July 17th, and I'll play at Ushuaia for Kygo's party on July 28th."
What are you looking forward to the most, when it comes to visiting Ibiza?
"I love to be in Ibiza! There's everything on this island: sun, beach and music. I'm not really a visiting guy, I prefer to chill on the beach!"
What DJ performance on Ibiza has made the biggest impression on you so far?
"I saw Erick Morillo in 2009 at Pacha and I was very impressed! The vibe was amazing."
Favorite Ibiza hotspot?
"For sure Tropicana beach in Cala Jundal. And also Aigua Blanques beach, it's so relaxing."
What’s your favorite place to eat?
"It's very cliché but I love the sushi at Pacha restaurant."
What do you still have on your Ibiza wishlist?
"To one day have my own weekly Ibiza party."
And finally, what record are we definitely going to hear on Ibiza this season?
"My track 'Nobody Does It Better' ;) "
