Armand van Helden drops his new album 'Extra Dimensional'!

Nov 25, 2016

After releasing the highly acclaimed official single ‘Wings’ and six album tracks, world renowned artist Armand van Helden now presents his new album ‘Extra Dimensional’. The album includes the feel good single ‘Wings’ and treats the listener to a piece of old school house music. Dance music delivered by one of the legends in the genre.

An awful lot has changed for Armand Van Helden since he first signed to Southern Fried back in 2002. In 2005, he scored a huge commercial hit with ‘My My My’, his biggest hit since his single ‘You Don’t Know Me’ hit number 1 back in ‘99.

Other excellent long players he has released are ‘Nympho’ (2004) and ‘Ghettoblaster’ (2007) while also satisfying his New York culture vulture cravings with ‘New York: A Mix Odyssey’ (2004) and ‘A Mix Odyssey Two’ (2008), the latter of which is an hommage to the emerging hip house and electro movement of 1988 to name a few. And yet, by the man’s own admission, nothing’s changed that much at all.

Over the last couple of weeks, the mighty Armand van Helden released the official single ‘Wings’ and album tracks ‘Know Thyself’, ‘Statue of Liberty’ ft Xaxo, ‘Eluv8’ ft. Big Brooklyn Red, ‘Spidey Sensei ft. ML from Spalding Rockwell and ‘The Bronx UFO’.

Now the waiting is over as ‘Extra Dimensional’ is finally out. Yesterday, Billboard exclusively premiered the album. “‘Extra Dimensional’ is 12 glorious tracks of mind-knockin’, universe-straddling house gold. Straight from the intro, you know what kind of head trip you’re in for.” - Billboard

Extra Dimensional’ already gained a massive support from Groove Armanda, Fatboy Slim, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Michel De Hey, Oliver Heldens, Bob Sinclar, Martin Garrix, Afrojack, Tchami, Benny Benassi, Annie Mac, Pete Tong and more.
