Exclusive interview: New Dance Music Friday featuring Snavs

Jun 2, 2017

We proudly present the New Dance Music Friday feature, your weekly update on all newly released dance tracks, brought together on one amazing Spotify playlist. Featured this week (among many others): Snavs! He released his new single ‘End With You feat. KING’ today, and provides the list with some musical tips, and tells all about it in this exclusive interview.

Hey, you just released your new track ‘End With You’. How did you create this?
"I wanted to do a pop banger but still with a melancholic vibe, and I really think we got that with ‘End With You’. KING is a really talented new singer and we’re great friends so she joined one of my writer camps and we did a session."

What does this record say about your musical evolution as an artist?
"It shows that I’m interested and capable of doing a wide perspective of electronic genres. I’m curious and I want to challenge myself all the time to develop and discover new sides of Snavs. But this doesn’t mean that from now on I’m only doing pop bangers, this is just one of many sides of my sound."

The track is featured on Spinnin’s New Dance Music Friday playlist. How important is Spotify to you?
For that I’m thankful. Spotify is a service where lots of people listen to music and I’m obviously interested in people listening to my music. This is one of many streaming services and they’re all equally important to me cause for me the most important thing is the fan and they should have the possibility to listen to my music no matter what streaming service they use.
