Exclusive interview: New Dance Music Friday with Borgore

Featured this week (among many others): Borgore! He's releasing his new single 'Elefante' today, and talks about the creation of it in this exclusive interview.

Hey, you are releasing your new single 'Elefante‘ today. How did you create this? 
"I decided I really wanted a new, huge big room record because I feel like there hasn’t been one I released for a while now. I made the main sound with a couple of melody ideas and played it to my followers on IG Live who said it sounded like an elephant – so I recorded my day to day manager in Spanish (his native tongue since he’s Argentinian) saying “elephant” in both languages and that’s how 'Elefante' was created!"

What does this record say about your musical evolution as an artist?
"I feel like 'Elefante' is me coming to an old sound (big room, which I haven’t been playing with for a while) with everything I’ve learned from this new wave of dubstep. I think as far as evolution, you can see that as an artist I keep learning by exploring."

The track is featured on Spinnin’s New Dance Music Friday playlist. How important is streaming to you?
"The more a record streams means the more people listen to it and enjoy it, it’s great to also have the opportunity to be featured with Spinnin' who has such a great fan base."
