Exclusive interview: New Dance Music Friday with LNY TNZ

Featured this week (among many others): LNY TNZ! They are releasing their new single 'Anyway' (feat. XERXESBAKKER) today, and talk about the creation of it in this exclusive interview.

Hey, you are releasing your new single 'Anyway' (feat. XERXESBAKKER) today. How did you create this? 
"We as LNY TNZ have the motto FVCK GENRES as you might know. Because of this motto and statement we tried to translate this statement into a song which turned out into 'Anyway'. We have the line ‘no matter what they say cause we do it anyway’ and thats what we stand for! We do what we want and what we feel, in general and in our music."

What does this record say about your musical evolution as an artist?
"For our singles we always try to create a poppy track with our harder style influences. Think about the harder style sounds, synths and kicks but also the energetic uptempo drops we make. The thing we like about our own music is that we make a real crossover sound. We hear a lot from people who never listened to hardstyle that they love our sound, because it’s a little harder than the average pop track and that gains the people’s interest."

The track is featured on Spinnin’s New Dance Music Friday playlist. How important is streaming to you?
"Streaming seems to be really important now. For us it is just important to spread our music with the world and have as many people possible get in touch with our music. If they love our music is another question but at least it’s important for us people have the ability to listen to our music."
